The 1889 Yale Bulldogs football team represented Yale University in the 1889 college football season. The Bulldogs finished with a 15-1 record under second-year head coach Walter Camp. Camp became known as the "Father of American Football". The 1890 Yale team recorded 12 shutouts and outscored its opponents by a combined total of 661 to 31.
